Comes with 2 stoppers:
1/ Fully sealed stopper prevents air entering. This slows down the weepage rate as air must move through the ollas clay pores to allow more water to seep out;
2/ Ventilated stopper. This allows air to enter the ollas easily at the top, thereby increasing the weepage rate.
Each half of the ollas is made in a hydraulic press for consistently even wall thickness & to allow semi-moist clay to be used, as this produces the best wicking action for soluble fertilisers without clogging. Only the highest quality 100% Galestro Italian Clay is used in the manufacture of our Oasis Ollas.
Remove the stopper to fill the ollas.
Reinstall the stopper to prevent bugs & dirt entering the ollas.
100% food safe so is ideal for automatically watering vegetables & small fruit trees.
